How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Cadent Gas Ltd

Drive collaboration that transforms how we deliver streetworks

As our Streetworks Collaboration Officer, you’ll play a key role in maximising the opportunities presented by the RIIO-GD3 Streetworks Collaboration Incentive. This isn’t just about coordination and reporting, it’s about bringing together operational teams, local authorities, utility providers and delivery partners to unlock collaborative opportunities that improve performance, reduce disruption and deliver value for customers.

This is a permanent opportunity, where you’ll work closely with the Central Programme Manager to support the successful delivery of streetworks collaboration activities across the network. You’ll help embed new systems, improve processes and ensure robust governance across all collaborative works while supporting regulatory and commercial objectives.

You’ll act as a key point of contact within the network, helping to strengthen relationships, improve planning and position Cadent for success within the GD3 framework. Covering the East of England Network, this role comes with a company car and requires regular travel between operational locations, making a full UK driving licence essential.

    Why you'll love this role:
Streetworks Collaboration Leadership – Coordinate and lead activities that maximise performance against the RIIO-GD3 Streetworks Collaboration Incentive.
Stakeholder Engagement – Build strong relationships with local authorities, utility providers, regulators and delivery partners to identify and deliver collaborative opportunities.
Process & System Improvement – Support the rollout of new systems and processes, ensuring successful adoption across operational teams.
Data & Performance Management – Maintain high-quality data and reporting to support regulatory submissions, assurance activities and performance monitoring.
Regulatory Reporting – Lead the preparation and submission of RIIO-GD3 reporting requirements and support assurance reviews.
Operational Coordination – Work across operational, engineering, regulatory, finance and programme teams to prioritise and coordinate collaborative works.
Site Engagement – Undertake site visits, attend coordination meetings and support CDM compliance across collaborative projects. What you'll bring:
Streetworks Expertise – Strong understanding of NRSWA/TMA legislation and streetworks delivery processes.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management – Experience working with multiple stakeholders, including local authorities, contractors and utility partners.
Data & Reporting Skills – Confidence working with data, producing reports and maintaining high levels of data quality and governance.
Project & Process Coordination – Experience supporting process implementation, project coordination or change activities.
Communication & Influence – Ability to communicate clearly and confidently, influencing without direct authority.
Organisation & Planning – Strong ability to manage competing priorities and coordinate activities across multiple teams.
Continuous Improvement Mindset – Passion for improving processes, driving efficiencies and delivering better outcomes.

    Qualifications:

Relevant professional qualification (or working towards one) in Project Management, Business Administration, Data Management or equivalent industry experience.
    NRSWA Supervisor qualification (S1-S7).
    Full UK driving licence.
Project Management qualification such as PRINCE2 Foundation or APM PFQ (desirable).

Apply now to play a key role in driving collaboration, innovation and performance across Cadent’s streetworks activities.

Interviews will be held Monday 26th and Friday 30th October.

Disclaimer: While the closing date is set as mentioned, we reserve the right to close the application process earlier if necessary, depending on the unique circumstances of each role.
