How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Location: Wednesbury WS10
    Daily Rate: £(Apply online only)
    Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

    Are you an experienced Year 2 Teacher with a passion for inclusive education?

    Long Term Futures is recruiting a qualified, experienced Year 2 Teacher for a welcoming academy in Wednesbury (WS10). The class includes children with a range of emotional, social and learning needs. Behaviour is not disruptive, but several pupils require additional support with emotional regulation to access learning.

    The academy follows an inclusive, trauma-responsive approach and is looking for a confident teacher who can create a calm, structured and nurturing classroom.

    In this role, you will:

    Plan and deliver engaging Year 2 lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
    Create a calm, safe and inclusive classroom where every pupil feels valued.
    Use trauma-informed teaching strategies to support vulnerable learners.
    Support pupils with emotional regulation and readiness to learn.
    Implement visual timetables, predictable routines and clear transitions.
    Differentiate and scaffold learning for pupils with SEND and additional needs.
    Adapt teaching to meet varying cognitive, social and emotional needs without lowering expectations.
    Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils and their families.
    Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
    Work closely with teaching assistants, the SENCO and wider school staff.
    Promote independence, confidence and positive learning experiences.We're looking for:

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - induction completed.
    Experienced teachers only - not suitable for ECTs.
    Strong understanding of KS1 and the Year 2 curriculum.
    Experience supporting SEND and vulnerable pupils.
