How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    PPC Specialist

London | Remote UK | Permanent

Are you a PPC Executive or Paid Search Specialist looking for more ownership and the opportunity to make your mark?

An established international organisation is investing heavily in digital transformation and bringing its PPC capability in-house. We're looking for a hands-on PPC Specialist to take ownership of paid search, manage a six-figure annual budget and help shape how PPC is run going forward.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you'll work closely with digital, web, content and sales teams, managing campaigns across UK and international markets.

    What you'll be doing

    * Own and optimise campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising

    * Manage and maximise a six-figure PPC budget

    * Drive qualified leads and conversions while improving CPA and ROAS

    * Develop Search, Performance Max and remarketing campaigns

    * Analyse keywords, search terms, audiences and competitors to identify growth opportunities

    * Test ad copy, landing pages and campaign strategies to improve conversion

    * Use GA4 and Google Tag Manager to track and understand performance

    * Turn data into clear recommendations for the wider marketing team

    What we're looking for

You'll be a hands-on PPC professional who's comfortable managing campaigns independently and using data to make commercial decisions.

    You'll ideally bring:

    * Strong practical experience with Google Ads

    * Experience with Microsoft Advertising

    * Good knowledge of GA4, GTM and conversion tracking

    * Strong campaign optimisation and analytical skills

    * Confidence working with CPA, ROAS, CPC and conversion-rate targets

    * Excel/Google Sheets skills and an analytical mindset

    * The ability to explain performance and recommendations clearly

Experience within education, training, professional services or another high-consideration B2B environment would be useful, but isn't essential.

    Why join?

This isn't simply a role maintaining existing campaigns. You'll join during a significant digital transformation, with the opportunity to help bring PPC in-house and influence how the function develops.

You'll have real ownership, meaningful budget, international exposure and the freedom to test new ideas — while working within an established organisation with ambitious plans for digital growth.
