How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Support Worker, Days and Waking Nights

    Location: TS Liverpool services across Lessingham Road, Starling Close and Dalwood Close, covering WA7 and WA8
    Salary: £14.00 per hour
    Contract: Full time, permanent
    Shifts: Days 8.00am to 8.00pm and waking nights 8.00pm to 8.00am
    Paid hours: 38.5 per week.

    Working pattern: Rolling two week rota

    You must:

    Already have the right to work in the UK for the full contracted hours without employer sponsorship.
    Be available to work the agreed full time day or waking night rota.
    Be able to reliably travel to your service in WA7 or WA8 for 8.00am or 8.00pm starts, including at weekends.

    Help people build more independent lives

    Transforming Support is recruiting Support Workers for TS Liverpool’s supported living services in the WA7 and WA8 areas, supporting adults with physical health, mental health, learning disability and complex support needs.

    You will build trusted relationships and provide practical support, reassurance and encouragement, helping each person live with greater independence, confidence and choice.

    These are full time, permanent positions.

    Benefits include: A discretionary £1,000 annual bonus, 28 days’ annual leave including bank holidays and a fully funded enhanced DBS check.

    Our services

    Lessingham Road: Supports people with physical health needs, including epilepsy, Parkinson’s and dysphagia. Previous care experience, particularly with physical health needs, would be beneficial.

    Starling Close: Supports people with learning disabilities, mental health needs and complex needs, with a strong focus on individual support, accurate documentation and medication administration.

    Dalwood Close: Supports people with learning disabilities, mental health needs and behaviours that may challenge.

    For Starling Close and Dalwood Close, at least six months’ care or support experience is essential because of the needs involved.

    What you’ll be doing

    Supporting daily living activities while promoting independence, dignity and choice.
    Building positive relationships and helping people access their community.
    Supporting health, wellbeing and medication in line with training and procedures.
    Following individual support plans and safeguarding procedures.
    Maintaining clear, accurate records.
    Working with colleagues, families and other professionals to provide consistent support.
    About you

    You will be caring, reliable and resilient, with the ability to remain calm in challenging situations and work both independently and as part of a team.

    A Care Certificate would be advantageous, but training is available where required. No driving licence is required. Please check that your travel arrangements cover the shift times, particularly on Sundays.
