The Role
Position: EYFS Teacher - SEN Unit
Location: Northampton, NN1
Contract: Long-term supply
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Start: Immediate start available
Potential: Temp-to-perm for the right candidate
The SEN Communication and Interaction Unit has capacity for 10 pupils and currently supports 7 EYFS and Key Stage 1 children with a range of individual needs.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, creative and appropriately differentiated learning experiences, helping pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally within a supportive and nurturing environment.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for an EYFS Teacher who:
Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Has strong experience within EYFS
Has experience or a genuine interest in working with children with SEN
Understands the importance of communication and interaction in early childhood development
Can adapt learning and activities to meet individual needs
Is nurturing, patient and empathetic
Can build strong and positive relationships with children
Has excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
Works well as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team
Is passionate about helping every child achieve their potential
Has an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or is willing to obtain one

£160.00 - £220.00 per day
