Key Responsibilities:
Plan production and material supply activities to support agreed build and consumption dates
Communicate demand plans clearly to suppliers, production teams and project stakeholders
Maintain accurate ERP data, including supplier commitment dates, lead times, minimum order quantities and Bills of Materials
Create and maintain clear-to-build reports, highlighting constraints, risks and required actions
Identify, manage and resolve material supply issues in a timely manner
Provide inputs into S&OP and MRP processes and manage resulting actions
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with suppliers and the Shipping and Logistics Controller
Monitor supplier performance KPIs and support supplier and process improvement initiatives
Job Requirements:
Experience in procurement, buying, supply chain planning or supply chain analysis within a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of supply chain control, material requirements planning and production planning
Experience creating and controlling Bills of Materials
Practical experience using an ERP system and maintaining accurate supply chain data
Strong reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent organisational skills with a flexible and solutions-focused approach
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers
Good commercial awareness and supplier relationship management skills
HNC, HND, degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant business, procurement or supply chain discipline
Right to work in the UK, as Skilled Worker visa sponsorship is not available for this role
