How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Our client, a well established organisation who we have a long standing relationship with within the food production industry, based in Stonehouse, has an exciting new opportunity for a Technical Coordinator to join their team on a full time, temporary basis.
     
    The successful Technical Coordinator should have:
    ·Previous experience within a food manufacturing, quality, or technical environment.
    ·A working knowledge of food safety and quality standards, including HACCP and GMP.
    ·Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
    ·The ability to maintain accurate records and manage technical documentation.
    ·Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
    ·A proactive approach and willingness to support a busy technical team.
    ·Experience of BRC standards would be advantageous.
     
    In this role, the Technical Coordinator will be responsible for:
    ·Supporting the day-to-day operation of the site's Food Safety and Quality Management Systems, including HACCP and GMP.
    ·Maintaining technical documentation, specifications, traceability records, and quality data.
    ·Assisting with audits, ensuring compliance with BRC standards, customer requirements, and relevant legislation.
    ·Supporting investigations into non-conformances, customer complaints, and quality issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
    ·Coordinating product testing, sampling, and quality assessments, escalating any out-of-specification results where required.
    ·Supporting new product and process development activities, including product launches and specification management.
    ·Monitoring food safety, hygiene, and quality standards across the site, promoting continuous improvement.
    ·Providing administrative and technical support to the wider Technical team.
