How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver

    AM2PM are seeking a skilled and reliable Counterbalance FLT Driver to join one of our clients in the Widnes area. This is a hands-on, physical role that involves a variety of tasks to support warehousing and recycling facility operations. The ideal candidate will have an RTITB or ITSSAR Counterbalance Forklift Truck license and be comfortable with lifting and moving materials weighing between 10-20kg on a regular basis.

    Details of a Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver:

    Location: Widnes, Cheshire WA8
    Pay Rate: £14.69 per hour
    Shift Patterns: Rotating shifts, 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00, 22:00-06:00
    Job Type: Temp to Perm

    Responsibilities of a Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver:

    Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) to handle materials.
    Load product onto the baler asset and coordinate packaging at the packing station.
    Perform a quality inspection of products to ensure compliance with standards.
    Check stock availability and suitability using provided lists.
    Transport processing materials via FLT and load product onto the production line using lifting equipment.
    Ensure no visible contamination at both the start and end of the production process.
    Operate production machinery including a packing station, ensuring finished products are accurately weighed and packed into individual bags.
    Use an X-Ray machine to detect metal contamination in packed products.
    Properly label individual bags to align with unique identification codes.
    Load finished bags onto pallets and secure them using a shrink wrap machine.
    Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the warehouse or recycling facility.
    Comply with health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

    Requirements of a Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver:

    Valid RTITB or ITSSAR accredited Counterbalance FLT License.
    Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 10-20kg.
    Previous experience in warehouse or recycling facility operations.
    Familiarity with operating lifting equipment, shrink wrapping, and packing machinery.
    Basic math skills for weighing and packing accuracy.
    A team player with good communication skills.
    Ability to follow processes and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
    Experience with baler machines and X-Ray inspection equipment
    Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety.
