What does the role involve?

Delivering engaging lessons across the KS2 National Curriculum.
Developing pupils’ literacy, numeracy and problem-solving skills.
Adapting lessons to support different abilities and additional needs.
Using assessment and feedback to identify gaps and encourage progress.
Maintaining positive behaviour and an inclusive classroom environment.
Working closely with teaching assistants and school colleagues.
Following each school’s policies and ensuring continuity of learning.
The successful KS2 Primary Teacher will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching KS2 in UK primary schools.
Secure knowledge of the National Curriculum.
Strong classroom management and high expectations for pupils.
An adaptable, encouraging approach to teaching.
A reliable attitude and a strong work ethic.
A clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.
An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
