How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Data Migration Administrator

    Contract: 3-6 months initially

    Start Date: ASAP

    Location: Salford, Manchester

    Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 DOE

    About the Role

    Our client is looking for Data Migration Analysts to join our team on an initial 3-month contract, with the potential to extend to 6 + months.

    This is an exciting opportunity to support a major programme, providing additional capacity across the full data migration lifecycle. You will play a key role in ensuring data is accurately prepared, cleansed, validated and successfully migrated from Maximo to Salesforce, helping to protect delivery timelines as deployment volumes increase.

    The successful candidates will work closely with project teams and individual sites to identify and resolve data issues, support testing and validation, and provide post-go-live support where required.

    Key Responsibilities

    Prepare, cleanse and validate data
    Review and remediate Data Quality Reports
    Support data mapping and reconciliation
    Preventive Maintenance data
    Support TRAIN and UAT activities
    Validate production migrations
    Work directly with sites to investigate and resolve data quality issues.
    Manage data migration activities through agreed stage gates and processes.

    About You

    We are looking for candidates with strong analytical and data management skills who are comfortable working with large volumes of data and identifying discrepancies or data quality issues.

    You will ideally have:

    Strong data analysis and Excel skills.
    Experience of data cleansing, preparation and reconciliation.
    Experience supporting large-scale data or system migrations.
    Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve data issues.
    Experience working with business users or operational teams to resolve data queries.
    The ability to manage competing priorities and work to tight delivery deadlines.
    Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

    Desirable Experience

    Experience working with IBM Maximo.
