How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

We are currently recruiting for an Internal Communications Writer & Editor to join the communications team of a leading global organisation operating across agriculture, science, sustainability and innovation.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced writer, editor or communications professional who enjoys turning complex information into clear, engaging stories that people actually want to read.

The role will focus on taking existing external communications, business updates, campaigns, customer stories, sustainability activity, innovation news and thought leadership and bringing those stories to life for an internal audience.

You’ll help employees understand what is happening, why it matters and how it connects to the wider purpose of the organisation.

Alongside writing new content, you’ll also provide editing and quality control support across internal communications, including intranet articles, employee updates, campaigns and other colleague-facing content.

    Key Responsibilities
Write clear, engaging internal stories based on external communications, business activity and corporate campaigns.
Turn external announcements, media stories, campaign materials and business updates into engaging content for employees.
Adapt complex or technical information into clear, accessible and easy-to-understand communications.
Edit and improve content produced by other members of the communications team, strengthening structure, clarity, tone, grammar and consistency.
Support the production of intranet articles, employee newsletters, internal updates, campaign content, talking points and short-form communications.
Work closely with communications colleagues and stakeholders to understand the subject matter, gather information and identify the key messages.
Interview or engage with subject matter experts and senior stakeholders where required to develop compelling stories.
Ensure content is accurate, consistent and appropriate for the intended audience.
Apply agreed editorial standards, tone of voice and messaging across all communications.
Help identify the “why it matters” behind business updates and ensure this comes through clearly in the finished content.
Adapt content for different internal channels and audiences where required.
Use AI and digital tools responsibly to support drafting, editing, summarising and adapting content, while maintaining strong human oversight, fact-checking and editorial judgement.
Manage multiple pieces of content simultaneously, working to agreed deadlines and priorities.About You
We’re looking for someone who is naturally curious, enjoys working with words and has a strong understanding of what makes communication effective. You may come from a background in internal communications, corporate communications, journalism, copywriting, content marketing, editorial or a similar field.

    Ideally, you will have:

5+ years' experience in writing, editing, journalism, corporate communications, content marketing or a related communications role.
Excellent written English and strong editing and proofreading skills.
The ability to make information clear, concise, accurate and engaging.
Strong editorial judgement and an understanding of how to tailor content to different audiences.
Experience creating or adapting content for channels such as intranets, newsletters, email communications, internal social platforms and printed materials.
Experience working from briefs, source material and stakeholder input.
Confidence communicating with and, where required, interviewing senior stakeholders and subject matter experts.
Excellent attention to detail, particularly around grammar, accuracy, tone and consistency.
The ability to take complex subjects and explain them in a straightforward and engaging way.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
A collaborative approach and the confidence to take feedback and work with a wider communications team.
An interest in areas such as science, agriculture, sustainability, food systems, innovation or global business would be advantageous.
Experience using AI or digital content tools would be beneficial, particularly where used to support research, drafting, editing or content adaptation. Why Apply? This is a great opportunity to join a high-profile global organisation and work within an established communications team, producing content that reaches colleagues across the wider business.

You’ll have the opportunity to work across a broad range of subjects, from innovation and sustainability to business updates, campaigns and external communications, making this a varied role for someone who enjoys both writing and editing.

On offer is an initial 12month role and highly likely to be extended. Competitive hourly rate, working 36hour week. Monday to Friday Hybrid and up to 39days holiday.
