Looking for a Primary Teacher role where you can focus on what you do best - teaching, building relationships and helping children make progress?
We're currently looking for a Primary School Teacher to work with a welcoming school in the Godmanchester area. We're keen to hear from teachers who can bring a calm, positive approach to the classroom and create an environment where pupils feel confident enough to participate, ask questions and enjoy their learning.
Whether you're an experienced Primary Teacher or an ECT looking to build your classroom experience, we'd be happy to have a conversation.
The role
As a Primary School Teacher, you'll be responsible for delivering engaging lessons while creating a classroom environment that is positive, organised and inclusive.
Your responsibilities may include:
Planning and delivering lessons in line with the primary curriculum
Creating engaging and accessible learning activities
Managing classroom behaviour positively and consistently
Assessing pupils' understanding and adapting teaching where needed
Supporting children with different learning needs and abilities
Working closely with Teaching Assistants and other school staff
Helping pupils develop confidence and independence in their learningWe're looking for someone who understands that a good primary classroom doesn't have to be silent - but it does need to be purposeful, supportive and somewhere children feel comfortable learning.
Who are we looking for?
We'd like to hear from qualified teachers who:
Hold QTS or an appropriate UK-recognised teaching qualification
Have experience teaching within primary education
Have a good understanding of the primary curriculum
Can build positive relationships with pupils
Are confident managing a classroom
Are reliable, adaptable and professionalECTs are also encouraged to apply.

Role: Primary School Teacher
Location: Godmanchester, Cambridgeshire
Pay: £140-£165 per day, dependent on experience and responsibilities
You'll be supported by Jack at Simply Education, who works with teachers and schools across Godmanchester, Huntingdon and wider Cambridgeshire.
