How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Are you an experienced customer service professional ready to take the next step in your career?

    We’re looking for a Customer Service Team Leader to join a busy and supportive team, where you’ll have the opportunity to lead from the front, develop colleagues and help deliver an outstanding customer experience.

    This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll be involved in supporting the team, dealing with customer queries, improving processes and making sure everything runs smoothly across the department.

    What will you be doing?

    * Supporting the day-to-day running of the team

    * Leading, motivating and developing a team

    * Helping to manage workloads and ensure customers receive a prompt and professional service

    * Overseeing enquiries, quotations and customer information

    * Working closely with other departments to ensure a smooth customer journey

    * Monitoring performance and identifying opportunities to improve ways of working

    * Stepping up to provide additional support and leadership when required

    What are we looking for?

    * Experience in a team leader, supervisor or senior customer service role,

    * Genuine passion for providing great customer service.

    * Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

    * The confidence to lead and support a team

    * Strong organisation and attention to detail

    * A proactive, practical approach to problem solving

    * The ability to work calmly and effectively in a busy environment

    * Good IT skills, including experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office/Excel
