How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

You'll combine strong employment law knowledge with a practical, people-focused approach to help managers make effective and informed decisions.

This is a varied role offering exposure to employee relations, policy development, organisational change, talent management, employee experience, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities

    HR Partnering

    * Partner with managers to develop their people management capability.

    * Provide expert advice and guidance on people-related matters.

    * Build strong relationships across the organisation to understand business needs and deliver effective people solutions.

    Employee Relations

    * Manage and support a wide range of employee relations cases including attendance, performance, grievance, disciplinary and conduct matters.

    * Coach managers through complex people issues and support early resolution wherever possible.

    * Ensure compliance with employment legislation, policies and best practice.

    * Support employment tribunals, ACAS matters and other external proceedings where required.

    Policy, Change & Continuous Improvement

    * Support the development and implementation of people policies, procedures and guidance.

    * Analyse workforce data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement.

    * Contribute to people projects and organisational change initiatives.

    * Drive continuous improvement across people processes and employee experience.

    Diversity, Inclusion & Employee Experience

    * Champion fair and inclusive practices across the organisation.

    * Support equality, diversity and inclusion initiatives.

    * Contribute to employee engagement activities and initiatives.

    * Challenge practices that may impact fairness, inclusion or employee wellbeing.

    Talent & Development

    * Support talent management and succession planning activities.

    * Provide coaching and career development guidance.

    * Contribute to recruitment, assessment and selection processes.

    * Support leadership and management development initiatives.

    About You

You'll be a proactive HR professional with strong employee relations experience and the confidence to build effective working relationships at all levels.

    Essential Experience

    * Previous experience within a HR Business Partner, People Partner or Senior HR Advisor role.

    * Experience coaching and developing managers.

    * Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.

    * Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
