We are currently looking for an experienced Electrician to join an ongoing Solar PV installation project based mainly in Leighton Buzzard and the surrounding areas.

This is a long-term opportunity for an electrician with experience in the electrical side of Solar PV installations.

Please note: This is NOT a roofing role. You will be working strictly on the electrical installation side of the solar systems.

Duties will include:

Installing and mounting solar PV inverters

Installing small distribution boards (DBs)

Running and terminating DC cabling to the roof

Carrying out electrical installation and associated Solar PV works

Testing and ensuring installations are completed to the required standards

Working alongside the wider solar installation team

Requirements:

Gold Card / JIB-approved Electrician

Qualified Electrician with relevant electrical qualifications

Level 3 Solar PV qualification highly desirable

Previous experience working with Solar PV systems

Experience with inverter installation and DC cabling

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Full right to work in the UK

This is an ongoing position with regular work available for the right electrician.
