How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) – Green Energy & Retrofit

Resident Liaison Officer | Tenant Liaison | Social Housing | SHDF Retrofit | Energy Efficiency

Job Title: Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) – Social Housing Decarbonisation

Location: Mitcham, South London (Local Estate Patch)

Pay Rate: £23.00 per hour (Umbrella) OR £17.32 per hour (PAYE direct) + Weekly Pay

    Contract Type: Full-Time Contract

Hours: Monday to Friday, Standard Day Shift (37.5 – 40 hours per week)

Mandatory Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence, Own Vehicle, Essential RLO / Social Housing Experience

Looking for an RLO role where your hard work is genuinely appreciated, your day flies by, and you get to make a tangible difference in people's lives

We are hiring a dedicated Resident Liaison Officer to join a supportive, forward-thinking site team delivering a flagship Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) retrofit project in Mitcham.

This isn't just about managing schedules—it's about helping local residents transform their living spaces into warm, energy-efficient homes while working alongside a contractor that values its people.

    Why You’ll Love Working Here:

Top-Tier Earnings: Competitive pay at £23.00/hr (Umbrella) or £17.32/hr (PAYE direct) with hassle-free weekly payments.

Make a Real Impact: Be the friendly face behind life-changing green upgrades (EWI, insulation, and ventilation) that slash energy bills for local families.

Great Work-Life Balance: Enjoy predictable, stable Monday-to-Friday day shifts—no weekend work or late-night calls.

Supportive Environment: Join an energetic site management team that actually listens, backs you up on difficult access days, and respects your expertise on the ground.

    What You’ll Be Doing:

Being the Friendly Face on Site: Conduct warm, informative pre-start home visits to walk residents through upcoming energy upgrades and answer their questions with confidence.

Keeping the Wheels Turning: Work hand-in-hand with site supervisors and specialist sub-contractors to schedule property access smoothly and keep project timelines on track.

Problem Solving with Heart: Support vulnerable residents through short-term disruption, de-escalating concerns before they turn into complaints, and finding smart solutions that keep everyone happy.

Celebrating Handovers: Take pride in guiding tenants through final sign-offs, collecting positive customer satisfaction feedback, and seeing the finished transformation firsthand.

    What We’re Looking For:

Proven RLO / TLO Experience: Prior experience in social housing or local authority maintenance/retrofit projects where you've proven your ability to handle resident communications.

Natural People Skills: High empathy, fantastic listening skills, and a calm, positive attitude that puts residents at ease instantly.

Driver: A valid Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle for moving around the local Mitcham patch.

Organisation: Comfort keeping accurate communication logs and managing daily appointments efficiently.
