How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    A Corporate Tax Senior role based in Heathrow within the accountancy industry, focusing on corporate tax-related responsibilities. You'll play a key part in managing corporate tax compliance and supporting with advisory services, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.

    Client Details

    Our client is a well respected, mid-tier accountancy firm based in the Heathrow area. They are investing heavily in their corporate tax department (due to the rapid growth of their corporate tax portfolio) and they need additional resource to service the increased workload.

    Description

    Prepare and review corporate tax computations and returns for a diverse portfolio of clients.
    Provide support to SM's/Partners re advising clients on corporate tax matters, ensuring compliance with current regulations.
    Assist in managing client relationships, acting as a key contact for tax-related queries.
    Support the team in tax planning and advisory projects.
    Identify and resolve tax issues, offering practical solutions to clients.
    Keep up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and ensure compliance.
    Collaborate with colleagues to provide a seamless service to clients.
    Contribute to the training and development of junior team members.Profile

    A successful Corporate Tax Senior should have:

    A professional qualification in tax or accountancy (e.g., ATT, CTA, ACA, or ACCA).
    Experience in corporate tax compliance and advisory work within professional services.
    Strong knowledge of UK tax legislation and regulations.
    Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
    Good communication skills to manage client relationships effectively.
