How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    SEN Teaching Assistants Required - 7 Specialist Schools in Oxford
    Oxford | OX2, OX3 & OX4 | Full-Time | Term-Time | Temp to Perm

    Are you passionate about supporting children and young people? Are you looking for a rewarding full-time role in education where you can make a genuine difference?

    We are recruiting 5 SEN Teaching Assistants to work across 7 specialist SEN schools in Oxford.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates who want to develop their experience within Special Educational Needs, autism, behaviour support and specialist education.

    You do not need to have worked as an SEN Teaching Assistant before. We are particularly interested in candidates who have the right attitude, personality and transferable skills.

    Who are we looking for?
    You could already be working as a:

    Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant

    Support Worker / Care Worker

    Healthcare Assistant

    Youth Worker / Youth Mentor

    Behaviour Support Worker

    Residential Support Worker

    Nursery Practitioner

    Sports Coach / Activity Leader

    Tutor or Classroom Assistant

    We also encourage applications from parents/carers and candidates from customer service, hospitality, retail and other people-facing roles who have strong interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in supporting young people.

    Role details
    Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm
    Days: Monday to Friday
    Contract: Full-time, term-time only
    Location: Oxford - OX2, OX3 & OX4
    Schools: 7 specialist SEN settings
    Opportunity: Temp to Perm

    Successful candidates will complete the required safeguarding and vetting process before being invited to a paid trial day.

    This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience within specialist education while receiving support throughout the recruitment process.
