How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    adi Healy Compressor Services – Compressed Air Engineer
    Location – Predominantly Midlands-based, with national travel as required
    About the Role
    As a Compressed Air Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering service excellence to our nationwide client base. This is a hands-on role involving the maintenance, repair, diagnostics and installation of oil-flooded and oil-free compressed air systems.
    Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:
    • Servicing, maintaining and repairing oil-flooded and oil-free compressed air systems.
    • Carrying out mechanical and electrical fault-finding and diagnostics.
    • Providing excellent customer service and building long-term client relationships.
    • Ensuring high standards of safety, quality and workmanship.
    • Completing service reports and documentation accurately and on time.
    • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and service growth.
    • Working collaboratively with the wider service and management teams.
    About you
    We would like to hear from you if you have:
    • Experience in a similar compressed air engineering role.
    • Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
    • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
    • The ability to work independently, manage workloads and travel nationally.
    • OEM training and electrical qualifications.
    • Oil-free compressor experience would be beneficial.
    • F-Gas certification would be beneficial.
    • Experience with N₂/O₂ generation systems, dryers or central control systems.
    • Good IT skills for paperless reporting and service documentation.
