How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), batch records and manufacturing instructions accurately.

    * Support production activities across multiple stages of the manufacturing process.

    * Assist with formulation, preparation and packaging activities.

    * Operate within cleanroom environments while maintaining GMP compliance.

    * Support equipment setup, operation and routine production requirements.

    * Complete manufacturing documentation and production records accurately.

    * Adhere to quality, safety and compliance standards at all times.

    * Maintain a clean and organised working environment.

    * Work collaboratively with production teams to ensure manufacturing targets are achieved.

    * Assist with material movement and manual handling activities as required.

    About You

To be successful in this position, you should be:

    * Organised, methodical and highly detail-oriented.

    * Comfortable following written procedures and working to strict quality standards.

    * Able to work effectively within a team environment.

    * Willing to learn and develop new skills.

    * Reliable, dependable and proactive in your approach to work.

    * Comfortable working within cleanroom and controlled manufacturing environments.

    Skills & Experience

    Essential

    * Previous experience working within a manufacturing, production or regulated environment.

    * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely.

    * Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

    * Strong communication and teamwork skills.

    * Good understanding of quality and compliance requirements.

    Desirable

    * GMP manufacturing experience.

    * Biotechnology, pharmaceutical, life science or scientific manufacturing experience.

    * Experience working within cleanrooms or controlled environments.

    * Experience completing batch documentation or production records.

    * Science-related qualifications or technical training.

    * Experience supporting production, formulation or process operations.

    Working Environment

The role involves working within GMP manufacturing facilities and cleanroom environments. Candidates should be comfortable following strict procedures, wearing appropriate PPE and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and compliance.

Manual handling activities will form part of the role, and applicants should be comfortable undertaking physical tasks associated with manufacturing operations.

    What Success Looks Like

The ideal candidate will be someone who is highly process-driven, takes ownership of their work and understands the importance of consistency, quality and compliance in a regulated manufacturing environment. They will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn and the ability to become a reliable member of a busy production team.

This role is particularly well suited to candidates from biotechnology, pharmaceutical, manufacturing or production backgrounds who enjoy hands-on operational work and can thrive in a structured, procedure-led environment
