How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

A role with genuine progression, influence and opportunity.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a growing Aerospace & Defence manufacturing group in North Bristol.

This is a great time to join the business. With an ambitious acquisition-led growth strategy, further acquisitions planned and significant investment in systems and automation, the finance function is evolving rapidly, and this role will evolve with it.

    You'll have the opportunity to:

Take real ownership of management accounting, reporting and financial analysis
Gain exposure to acquisitions, integration and group finance
Work across multiple businesses and manufacturing environments
Get involved in automation, systems integration and process improvement
Influence how the finance function develops as the group grows
Work closely with senior stakeholders and gain broad commercial exposure
Develop your career with a genuine opportunity to progress into a Finance Manager role within 2-3 yearsThis isn't a role where you'll simply inherit a fixed job description. The business is growing, the finance function is developing and there's plenty of scope to make your mark and take on more responsibility.

    What's on offer

Hybrid working - typically 2-3 days in the office
    Study support
    Excellent career progression
Exposure to a high-growth Aerospace & Defence environment
The opportunity to be part of an exciting acquisition and growth journeyWe're looking for a hands-on Management Accountant, ideally with experience in manufacturing, Aerospace & Defence or a similarly operational environment. Relevant experience is key, and professional studies such as CIMA, ACCA or ACA would be advantageous.

If you're looking for a role where you can grow with the business, broaden your experience and build towards Finance Manager level, this could be an excellent next move
