How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Womenswear Fashion Designer | London

A brilliant new opportunity has landed with a highly reputable and established fashion business in London, and we're looking for a talented Womenswear Designer to join their creative team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a designer who has built a strong foundation within womenswear and is now ready to take the next step in their career. You'll be joining a supportive, collaborative team where there is plenty of scope to learn, develop and really make your mark across the product.

We're looking for someone who is both creatively driven and technically strong - a designer who understands that great product is about so much more than just the initial idea. You'll be involved throughout the full garment development journey, from initial concept and sketch through to sampling and final product.

Outerwear and tailoring experience is essential, alongside a strong understanding of garment construction and fit.

    The Role:

Developing creative and commercial womenswear across the collection, with a strong focus on outerwear and tailoring

Creating your own detailed tech packs and ensuring designs are communicated clearly to suppliers and factories

Producing confident hand/digital sketches and clearly briefing factories on construction, details and how samples should be made

Working closely with suppliers throughout the sampling and development process

Taking ownership of designs from initial concept through to final production

Considering every element of garment development, including construction, fabric, trims, fit and finishing

Working collaboratively with the wider design and product teams to develop commercially relevant, high-quality product

Contributing creatively to the direction of the wider womenswear collection

    About You:

We're looking for a designer with a few years' industry experience who has developed a strong technical and creative foundation, but who is still hungry to learn and develop.

    You'll ideally have:

Womenswear design experience, ideally within a fast-paced fashion environment

    Strong outerwear and tailoring experience

Excellent understanding of garment construction and the full product development process

The ability to create your own accurate, detailed tech packs

    Strong sketching and communication skills

Confidence briefing factories and suppliers clearly and effectively

A genuine understanding of what goes into making a garment, rather than being purely concept/creative focused

A commercial eye alongside strong creative instincts

Great attention to detail and a hands-on approach to product development

A willingness to learn, take ownership and grow within a supportive team

If you're looking for your next challenge and want the opportunity to really grow as a designer, we'd love to hear from you.

    5 days on-site in London.
