This is a hands-on, physical role ideal for someone who enjoys practical work and using tools. You will be involved in preparing, repairing, modifying and assembling roadside signs and equipment to a high standard.
Key Duties:
* Using hand tools and drills to work on roadside technology signs and equipment
* Scraping, cleaning and preparing signs and surfaces
* Drilling holes and fitting brackets, fixings and components
* Assembling and dismantling equipment
* Carrying out basic repairs and modifications
* Checking finished work meets quality standards
* Following measurements and simple instructions
* Keeping the work area clean, organised and safe
* Supporting the team to achieve daily production targets
Requirements:
* Previous experience using hand tools or power tools is advantageous
* Good attention to detail
* Ability to carry out physical work
* Safety shoes and hi-vis vest required
* Own transport essential due to the location
