How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    JOB TITLE: Fabric Supervisor

    LOCATION: Wembley, London (on site)

    CONTRACT: Full Time

SALARY: Competitive + Overtime + Flexible Benefits

    Summary

NG Bailey Facilities Services are looking for an experienced Fabric Supervisor to join us on the prestigious Wembley Stadium contract. You’ll lead a team of four Fabric Technicians, keeping one of the UK’s most iconic venues looking and performing at its best, from everyday repairs and inspections to getting the building ready for major events.

With a proactive, customer-focused attitude, you’ll be hands-on as well as leading, supporting your team with painting and decorating, carpentry, building inspections and general site husbandry, while also inspecting and quoting small works and planning and coordinating repairs. The role is full time, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with overtime available and some flexibility needed to lead fabric provision at events, including some weekday evenings and weekends.

Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:

Leading and developing your team of Fabric Technicians, covering both HR and operational activities to build a safe, healthy and proactive culture.

Planning and delivering scheduled fabric maintenance, including painting and decorating, carpentry and building and stadium inspections, to maximise the appearance and operational effectiveness of the Stadium.

Leading fabric provision during events, including pre-event surveys and repairs.

Spotting fabric or plant problems early and making sure they are communicated quickly so action can be taken before the client’s business or safety is affected.

Putting together and submitting extra work quotations to the customer.

Keeping health and safety (HASAWA) and on-site quality assurance standards front and centre, with accurate records of completed works.

Communicating openly with NG Bailey line management and client contacts, creating a collaborative environment to plan and agree activities.

    What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for an experienced Fabric Supervisor who works to a high standard and puts customer service first. You’ll be a confident communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can juggle competing priorities and takes pride in the finish of the Stadium.

You will hold current qualifications to work as a Fabric Supervisor, along with experience in:

NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 in a fabric discipline (building, carpentry, decorating etc.)

Supervising or leading a team in a similar fabric role

General building Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules

Multitasking and working effectively in a fast-paced environment

It would be a bonus to have a working knowledge of water systems and Legionella awareness

    Benefits:

We're always evolving our benefits to ensure we're attracting and retaining great people.  Some of what you can expect includes:

    Competitive salary, with overtime available

25 Days Holiday plus Public Holidays

Pension with a leading provider and employer contribution

    Sick Pay

    Personal Wellbeing and Volunteer Days

    Private Medical Insurance

Free 24/7 365 Employee Assistance Program to support mental health and well-being (including counselling sessions and legal advice)

Flexible benefits to suit from Dental Insurance, Gym Memberships, Give As You Earn, Travel Insurance, Tax Free Bikes

    Personal development programme

    Next Steps:
