How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Aspire People is currently seeking an enthusiastic SEND Primary Teacher to join a specialist primary provision supporting pupils with a range of moderate to complex additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), ADHD, sensory processing difficulties, social communication needs, and associated emotional and behavioural challenges.

    This is a highly rewarding opportunity to work within a nurturing and well-resourced specialist setting where every achievement is celebrated, and every child is encouraged to reach their full potential.

    The Role
    As an SEND Primary Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of learners. Working alongside experienced support staff, therapists, and senior leaders, you will create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic progress, confidence, independence, and personal development.

    Key responsibilities include:
    * Planning and delivering creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
    * Developing and implementing personalised learning strategies to support student progress.
    * Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
    * Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, and external professionals.
    * Monitoring, assessing, and recording pupil progress against EHCP targets and learning outcomes.
    * Supporting pupils' communication, social development, emotional regulation, and independence skills.
    * Managing behaviour positively through effective relationship-building and consistent support strategies.
    * Maintaining regular communication with parents, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.

    The Ideal Candidate
    We are looking for an individual who:
    * Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
    * Has experience teaching children with SEN, SEND, or additional learning needs.
    * Demonstrates a strong understanding of differentiated teaching and inclusive practice.
    * Can build positive and meaningful relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues.
    * Possesses excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
    * Is patient, resilient, adaptable, and passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
    * Has experience within specialist settings, alternative provisions, or mainstream schools with SEND responsibilities (desirable but not essential).

    Why Work with Aspire people?

    * Competitive weekly pay
    * Immediate and long-term full-time opportunities.
    * Access to free and discounted CPD and SEN-specific training courses.
    * Ongoing support from a dedicated specialist education consultant.
    * Opportunities to gain valuable experience across a variety of specialist settings.
    * Potential pathways into permanent positions and leadership opportunities.
    * A trusted recruitment partner with extensive experience within SEND education.
