Mechanical Engineer

A Mechanical Engineer is required for a permanent, static role near Oxford Circus, delivering planned and reactive maintenance across building mechanical and electrical systems.

You'll manage day-to-day maintenance, emergency repairs and small works while ensuring PPM activity meets contractual KPIs and SLAs.

The Role
 
As the Mechanical Engineer, you'll:

Manage reactive works across building mechanical and electrical systems.
Respond to site emergencies and complete remedial Help Desk requests.
Coordinate and complete small works repairs across the site.
Deliver planned maintenance in line with contractual KPIs and SLAs.
Maintain accurate PPM records and keep the CAFM system updated.
Prepare method statements and risk assessments for additional works.
Compile monthly reports covering completed maintenance activity.
Provide a professional service to internal and external customers. About You
 
To be successful as the Mechanical Engineer, you'll have:

NVQ Level 2 or higher in a mechanical discipline.
Experience carrying out planned and reactive building maintenance.
The ability to respond effectively to faults and emergency repairs.
Experience maintaining accurate maintenance and compliance records.
A customer-focused approach when working with site stakeholders. What's in it for You?
£43,000–£45,000 annual salary.
Permanent position near Oxford Circus, London.
Static, Monday-to-Friday working arrangement.
Day shifts of 7:00am–4:00pm, 8:00am–5:00pm or 9:00am–6:00pm.
Varied responsibility across PPM, reactive maintenance and small works. The role includes a 1-in-3 call-out rota covering Cambridge and Guildford.
