Location: Maidstone, Kent
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 DOE + Benefits
THE OPPORTUNITY
CPXR is recruiting for a Windows & Glazing Estimator to join an established and successful specialist glazing business based in Maidstone.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator with a background in windows, glazing, aluminium, UPVC or façade systems who is looking for a stable position with a growing business.
The role will involve pricing projects, reviewing drawings and specifications, preparing quotations and working closely with clients, suppliers and internal teams to ensure competitive and accurate tenders.
THE ROLE
• Preparing accurate estimates and quotations for windows and glazing projects
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
• Taking off quantities and pricing materials, labour and subcontractor costs
• Liaising with suppliers and obtaining competitive material and product prices
• Working closely with clients, contractors and internal teams throughout the tender process
• Supporting the commercial team with variations, cost updates and project handovers
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
• Experience as an Estimator, Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Estimator
• Background in windows, glazing, aluminium, UPVC, curtain walling or façades
• Strong experience in preparing estimates and detailed quotations
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Good understanding of material, labour and installation costs
• Strong commercial, numerical and organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Candidates from related fenestration, façade, cladding or specialist subcontractor backgrounds will also be considered.
