How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Tenancy Sustainment OfficerPermanent | Merseyside
    Your new companyI'm currently working with a Merseyside-based housing provider seeking an experienced Tenancy Sustainment Assistant to join its Housing Services team on a permanent basis. With a strong focus on supporting customers to maintain successful tenancies and achieve positive outcomes, this organisation is committed to delivering person-centred services that make a genuine difference within local communities.
    Your new roleAs a Tenancy Sustainment Officer, you will work directly with customers who require additional support to sustain their tenancy and live independently. Managing a varied caseload, you will provide early intervention and tailored support to residents facing challenges including financial hardship, mental health concerns, social isolation, domestic abuse, anti-social behaviour and tenancy-related issues.
    Key responsibilities will include:

    Supporting customers at risk of tenancy breakdown, eviction or homelessness.
    Carrying out home visits, needs assessments and welfare checks.
    Developing and reviewing support plans to help residents achieve sustainable outcomes.
    Working closely with Housing Officers, local authorities and external support agencies.
    Assisting customers with access to welfare benefits, debt advice, health services, employment support and community resources.
    Identifying and responding appropriately to safeguarding concerns.
    Supporting new tenants to successfully settle into their homes and communities.
    Maintaining accurate case records and contributing to service performance targets.What you'll need to succeed

    Previous experience in tenancy sustainment, housing management, homelessness prevention, floating support or a similar housing-related role.
    Experience supporting vulnerable customers and managing complex cases.
    A strong understanding of safeguarding, welfare benefits and support services.
    Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
    The ability to work independently and prioritise a busy caseload effectively.
    A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
    A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.What you'll get in return
