Working across a diverse range of commercial or industrial environments, you'll be involved in everything from fault-finding and reactive maintenance through to installations, commissioning and specialist refrigeration projects
Key Responsibilities
Install, service, maintain and repair commercial refrigeration systems.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
Respond to reactive breakdowns and emergency call-outs.
Diagnose faults and identify effective and efficient solutions.
Complete refrigeration installations and commissioning activities where required.
Work on a range of commercial refrigeration equipment and systems.
Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally and in accordance with relevant industry standards.
Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues and other site personnel.
Represent the company positively while working on customer sites.
Work independently while contributing effectively as part of the wider engineering team.
Maintain and develop technical knowledge as new technologies, systems and refrigerants are introduced.Beneficial Skills / Qualifications:
Proven experience working as a Commercial Refrigeration Engineer.
Relevant refrigeration / RACHP qualifications.
Current F-Gas certification.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
Practical experience working on commercial refrigeration systems.
Full UK driving licence.
Professional approach to customers and colleagues.
Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
Strong commitment to health, safety and quality.
Good communication and customer service skills.
