Staffline is recruiting Production Line Leaders in Huntingdon.
The rate of pay is £15.03 per hour.
This is a full-time role working a convenient rotating shift pattern. The hours of work are:
- 2 weeks - 6am to 2pm
- Followed by 2 weeks - 2pm to 10pm
Your Time at Work
As a Production Line Leader your duties include:
- Lead and support a team of production operatives within the packing or processing area, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and performance KPIs are achieved.
- Monitor product quality, food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards, ensuring all company procedures are followed at all times.
- Complete and maintain accurate production paperwork, KPI boards, and stock records, ensuring information is updated correctly and on time.
- Ensure production lines are fully operational at the start of each shift and respond quickly to operational issues, breakdowns, or equipment concerns to minimise downtime.
- Train, motivate, and support team members, identifying development needs and reporting performance concerns to Shift Leaders when required.
- Drive continuous improvement across the production area by promoting efficient working practices, strong communication, and a positive team culture.

- Excellent communication skills - Confident communicating with operatives, Cell Leaders, and Shift Leaders to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

- Self-motivated and proactive - Capable of making decisions independently, solving problems, and taking ownership of the production area.
- Team player - Works collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production, quality, and customer requirements.
- Continuous improvement mindset - Keen to identify efficiencies, improve processes, and contribute to operational success.
Previous manufacturing or food production leadership experience is desirable.
