This is a position will see you play a key role in the delivery of a £mulit-billion construction programme in Essex.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading the delivery of complex civil engineering construction projects through the construction phase
Managing project scope, programme, resources, risks and quality requirements
Co-ordinating multidisciplinary teams, contractors, consultants and key stakeholders
Monitoring project progress and ensuring delivery against agreed milestones
Managing commercial, technical and construction-related risks
Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety, quality and regulatory standards
Preparing project reports and providing clear updates to senior stakeholders
Supporting effective communication and collaboration across the wider transformation programme
Job Requirements:
Significant experience in project management within complex civil engineering or construction programmes
Experience of working through the construction stages of major infrastructure projects
Background in a highly regulated industry, such as airports, rail, nuclear or water
Strong understanding of project controls, risk management, programme management and governance
Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and make effective decisions in a complex project environment
Strong knowledge of construction delivery, health and safety and quality assurance requirements
Ability to commute to Stansted and work on site at least three days per week
