How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    CLASS 2 DRIVER – IMMEDIATE STARTS AVAILABLE!

    We’re looking for reliable and motivated Class 2 Drivers to work alongside a Driver’s Mate, completing deliveries to customers safely and efficiently.

    Newly passed Class 2 drivers are welcome to apply!

    THE ROLE

    As a Class 2 Driver, you’ll be responsible for driving the vehicle and working closely with your Driver’s Mate to ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and professionally.

    Your duties will include:

    Driving a Class 2 HGV safely and responsibly
    Completing deliveries to customers
    Working as part of a two-person delivery team
    Supervising and coordinating with your Driver’s Mate
    Carrying out daily vehicle checks
    Loading and unloading where required
    Delivering kegs, cases and other products
    Helping navigate customer sites safely
    Providing excellent customer service at each delivery
    Completing delivery paperwork and electronic PODs where required
    Following all transport, health & safety and company procedures
    Maintaining good communication and interaction with the agency
    Reporting any issues or concerns to the relevant contact

    TRAINING & ASSESSMENT

    Driver assessment required prior to starting
    2 weeks’ full training provided
    Newly passed Class 2 drivers welcome
    Ongoing support throughout training and employment

    ✅ WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

    Valid Class 2 (C) HGV licence
    Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
    Good knowledge of WTD (Working Time Directive)
    Good knowledge of EU Drivers’ Hours regulations
    Reliable and punctual
    Good communication and customer service skills
    Good awareness of health & safety
    Confident manoeuvring vehicles on customer sites
    Comfortable working alongside a Driver’s Mate
    Physically fit, as the role may involve manual handling
    A positive, professional and can-do attitude
