We’re looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established contractor with 40+ years of industry experience and a strong pipeline of long-term infrastructure work across water, transport, energy and the built environment.
The Role
You’ll take a lead role in managing the commercial performance of projects, working closely with project teams, clients and subcontractors.
Key responsibilities include:

Managing project costs, forecasts, cash flow and monthly CVRs
*
Leading subcontract procurement, negotiation and account management
*
Managing applications for payment through to final account
*
Managing NEC and IChemE contracts
*
Identifying commercial opportunities and managing risk
*
Providing commercial advice to project and site teams
*
Building strong client and supply chain relationships
*
Supporting and mentoring junior commercial staff
About You
You’ll have:
*
Previous construction/civil engineering experience
*
Strong commercial management and subcontract procurement experience
*
Experience with NEC and/or IChemE contracts
*
Knowledge of construction law
*
Experience with forecasting, cost analysis and CVRs
*
Strong numerical, analytical and communication skills
*
Excellent organisation and time management
*
RICS membership/working towards, a relevant HND/degree and CSCS are desirable.
