Key Responsibilities:
Managing the delivery of complex civil engineering construction projects from the construction phase onwards
Co-ordinating project activities across contractors, consultants, technical teams and other stakeholders
Monitoring programme progress, project performance, risks, costs and quality standards
Ensuring construction activities comply with relevant health and safety, regulatory and industry requirements
Managing project documentation, reporting, change control and delivery milestones
Supporting the resolution of technical, commercial and operational challenges throughout the project lifecycle
Maintaining effective communication with project stakeholders to support successful programme delivery
Job Requirements:
Experience in project management within complex civil engineering or construction programmes
Practical experience of managing construction-stage projects
Background in a highly regulated industry such as airports, nuclear, rail or water
Strong understanding of construction delivery, project controls, risk management and stakeholder engagement
Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
Relevant project management, civil engineering or construction qualification is desirable
Willingness and ability to commute to Stansted and work on site three days per week
