We're recruiting for a 'Sales Administrator' to join a friendly, close-knit team within a growing business based in the Dudley area.
This is a fantastic temporary to permanent opportunity with a company we've proudly worked alongside for several years and have built a great relationship with. They may be a relatively small team but they have big ambitions for the future and as the business continues to grow, there are exciting plans to potentially move into larger local premises before the end of the year.
They're now looking for someone who wants to become a genuine part of that journey.
The role
This isn't your typical 'Sales Administrator' position where you'll be sitting behind a desk all day!
Approximately 70% of your role will be office-based, supporting the sales and order process, while around 30% will involve getting hands-on in the warehouse, helping the wider team to pick and pack products when required.
It's very much an "everyone gets stuck in" environment, so we're looking for someone who enjoys variety and is just as comfortable helping in the warehouse as they are working in the office.
Responsibilities will include:
Processing sales orders accurately and efficiently
Providing general administrative support to the sales function
Liaising with customers regarding orders and enquiries
Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate records
Supporting the wider team with day-to-day administration
Working closely with colleagues to ensure orders are processed smoothly
Going into the warehouse when required to physically pick and pack items
Supporting with other duties to help the team during busy periods
What are we looking for?
Confident with administration and comfortable using computer systems
Organised with good attention to detail
Friendly, approachable and confident communicating with customers and colleagues
Happy working as part of a small, close-knit team
Flexible and willing to turn their hand to different tasks
Comfortable with the physical element of picking and packing products
Reliable, proactive and willing to get stuck in
Looking for a role where they can potentially build a longer-term career
Previous sales administration, customer service or order processing experience would be advantageous, but equally important is finding someone with the right attitude and team mentality.
