How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Project Manager – Transport & Electrical Infrastructure
    Location: South East (predominantly projects from London through to Southampton, or surrounding areas)
    Base: South East London (Eltham area – onsite/office presence required)
    Salary: £55,000 – £62,000 + annual company trip + performance rewards

    Company vehicle.  The Hard Infrastructure PM Role As a Project Manager, you will take full ownership of critical electrical infrastructure projects across transport, highways, and utility networks.

    End-to-End PM: Oversee project lifecycle from initial planning, resource allocation, and site installation through to testing, commissioning, and final handover.
    Stakeholder & Client Relations: Act as the primary interface between main contractors, public sector bodies, supply chains, and internal site teams.
    Commercial & Delivery Control: Drive projects on time and within budget, managing health & safety compliance, progress reporting, and variations. What We Are Looking For We welcome applications from Project Managers with a background in Hard Infrastructure, specifically:

    Sectors: Rail, Highways, Tunnels, Power/Electrical Grids, or similar heavy civil infrastructure environments.
    Location & Mobility: Based in or around the South East, capable of commuting to the South East London office and traveling to project sites across London, Southampton, and surrounding areas.
    Proven Track Record: Demonstrable experience managing live commercial packages, site teams, and health & safety compliance. #Technical2026
