How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Teamwork Partnership is recruiting on behalf of their cleint, a long-established, family-owned business based in East Yorkshire. With over 75 years of heritage, the business continues to invest in its people, facilities and equipment and is now looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer to strengthen its engineering team.

    The Role

    We are looking for a hands-on Multi-Skilled Engineer to work closely with the Site Engineering Manager, supporting the maintenance and continuous improvement of the production facility.

    You will play an important role in keeping production equipment operating efficiently, reducing downtime and supporting ongoing site improvements within a well-invested food manufacturing environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production equipment and site machinery

    * Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults

    * Minimise production downtime

    * Support the Engineering Manager with maintenance planning and site improvements

    * Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment

    * Work closely with production teams to maintain operational efficiency

    * Ensure all engineering work complies with Health & Safety and food safety standards

    What We’re Looking For

    * Previous experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer within manufacturing, food production or FMCG

    * Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills

    * Excellent problem-solving ability

    * Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team

    * Good communication and organisational skills

    * Electrical certification or qualifications would be advantageous
