How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We are looking for an experienced Site Manager with an engineering background to join our clients team. This is an excellent opportunity for an Engineering professional looking to take the next step in their career and move into a full Site Management role.
    You will be responsible for supporting the safe, compliant and efficient delivery of works on site, with a strong focus on quality, documentation and site controls.
    Key Responsibilities
    Manage and oversee RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements), including review, approval and implementation on site.
    Manage the Permit to Work process, ensuring permits are correctly issued, controlled and closed out.
    Carry out regular QA site inspections, producing reports and ensuring any actions are followed through to completion.
    Conduct site audits and quality checks to maintain high standards of workmanship and compliance.
    Develop, review and manage Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
    Monitor site activities to ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, RAMS and project requirements.
    Work closely with engineers, subcontractors and project teams to resolve technical and site-based issues.
    Ensure health, safety, quality and environmental requirements are maintained across the site.
    Maintain accurate site records and provide regular progress and quality reporting.
    Support the wider project team with the successful delivery of works from planning through to completion.
    About You
    We are looking for someone with a strong engineering background who is ready to take the next step into Site Management.
    You will ideally have:
    An engineering qualification or relevant engineering experience.
    Experience working in a construction, engineering or infrastructure environment.
    Good knowledge of RAMS, permits, QA inspections, audits and ITPs.
    Strong organisational and communication skills.
    The ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
    A proactive approach to identifying and resolving site issues.
    The confidence to coordinate contractors, engineers and site teams.
    A strong understanding of health, safety and quality requirements.
    A genuine ambition to progress into a Site Manager position.
