The client specialises in pipe fabrication, so previous experience working with pipework and fabrication is highly desirable.
The Ideal Pipe Welder:
* Proven experience as a Pipe Welder
* Strong experience with MIG, TIG, Stick/MMA and MAG welding
* Previous experience within a pipe fabrication / engineering environment
* Able to read and work from engineering drawings
* Confident working to specifications and required welding standards
* Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
* Reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
Duties:
* Fabricating and welding pipework
* Carrying out MIG, TIG, Stick/MMA and MAG welding
* Working from engineering drawings and specifications
* Preparing, fitting and welding pipe sections
* Ensuring welds meet the required quality standards
* Grinding, cleaning and preparing materials
* Carrying out general fabrication duties as required
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
