Key Responsibilities
Raising Purchase Orders for subcontractors and materials
Obtaining and comparing quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
Preparing and maintaining Health & Safety files and documentation
Arranging site access permits and other access requirements as necessary
Managing and coordinating plant hire
Preparing and distributing weekly project progress reports
Coordinating meetings, appointments and project schedules
Maintaining drawing records, ensuring drawings are correctly recorded and managed
Providing day-to-day administrative support and communication for Project Managers and Site Managers
Acting as a key office contact point for project-related queries
Providing general administrative support across the projects team as required
The successful candidate will be:
A confident and capable all-round administrator
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines
Proactive and able to use their own initiative
A good communicator, comfortable dealing with Project Managers, Site Managers, suppliers and subcontractors
Confident using Microsoft Office and general computer systems
Someone who enjoys being hands-on and involved in the day-to-day running of projects
Able to work calmly under pressure and prioritise effectively
A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
