This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in their career with a well-established contractor offering long-term stability in education, healthcare and commercial projects.
As Quantity Surveyor, you will take responsibility for the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with the operational team, clients and supply chain to ensure projects are delivered profitably and effectively.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Managing the commercial aspects of projects from contract award through to completion
* Preparing and managing budgets, forecasts and cost reports
* Procurement and management of subcontractors and suppliers
* Reviewing and agreeing subcontractor applications, variations and final accounts
* Managing valuations, payment applications and cash flow
* Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities
* Preparing and submitting variations and loss and expense claims
* Monitoring project costs against budgets and forecasts
* Working closely with Project Managers and Site Teams
* Assisting with contractual matters and ensuring compliance with the relevant contract
* Preparing and agreeing final accounts
* Maintaining accurate commercial records and reporting to senior management

Salary up to £60,000 plus car / allowance
