How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

As Head of Quality, you will take overall responsibility for the Quality function at site level, leading a team of 12 direct reports and working closely with the wider Senior Leadership Team to drive quality performance, compliance and continuous improvement.

You will be responsible for maintaining and developing an effective Quality Management System, ensuring alignment with customer and regulatory requirements while embedding a strong culture of quality throughout the operation.

Drive continuous improvement through structured problem solving, preventative quality techniques, performance measurement and Lean methodologies.
Monitor and improve key quality metrics including customer satisfaction, Cost of Poor Quality, product quality and supplier performance.
Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, Programme Management and customers to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
Develop the Quality strategy and translate divisional objectives into measurable site-level improvements.

Experience of project and change management.
Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
The ability to operate credibly at Senior Leadership Team level, whilst still being able to engage with teams on the shop floor.
A genuine leadership mentality, with the ability to develop people, influence culture and drive change.
A degree in Engineering or a related discipline, Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt and AS9100 Lead Auditor experience would be advantageous.
