How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

The successful Associate Project Manager will be joining at an important time for the team, with a senior team member due to go on maternity leave in the coming months. As a result, the Associate Project Manager will be trusted with meaningful responsibility from the outset. The Associate Project Manager will lead the delivery of projects from pre-construction through to completion, working closely with clients, consultants and contractors.

Responsibilities will include managing project programmes, coordinating design teams, overseeing risk, reporting on progress, managing client relationships and ensuring projects are delivered in line with agreed cost, quality and programme requirements.

The Associate Project Manager will also play an important role in supporting the wider team and helping maintain continuity across live projects.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

    The Associate Project Manager

    The successful candidate will have:

Strong Project Management experience within a construction consultancy

Experience delivering student accommodation, regeneration, residential or similar large-scale developments

A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline

Proven experience leading projects and managing client relationships

Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

MRICS, MAPM or another relevant professional qualification, or progress towards chartership

The confidence to take ownership of projects with limited supervision

    In Return?

    £70,000 - £78,000

Opportunity to lead major regeneration and student accommodation projects

High level of responsibility from day one

Clear progression within an established consultancy

Exposure to large and complex developments
