How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

We have opportunities across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, with both regular and flexible work available.

Above all, we are looking for Primary Teachers who can walk into a classroom, quickly build rapport with pupils and provide a positive and purposeful day of learning.

    What's in it for you?

    Daily rates from £140 – £253

Gain experience in different primary school environments
Greater flexibility around your working week
Explore different schools and year groups before committing to your next permanent move

    What will you be doing?

The exact responsibilities will depend on whether you choose day-to-day supply or a longer-term position. As a Primary Teacher, you could be:

Delivering creative and engaging lessons across the curriculum
Picking up existing planning and ensuring continuity of learning
Planning sequences of lessons during longer-term assignments
Adjusting activities so that all pupils can access and enjoy their learning
Providing appropriate challenge and support for different abilities
Creating clear expectations and positive classroom routines
Assessing learning and identifying next steps
Supporting pupils with SEND and additional learning needs
Working closely with Teaching Assistants to maximise classroom support
Encouraging children to become confident and independent learners
Ensuring safeguarding and pupil welfare remain at the heart of your practice

    What are we looking for?

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A minimum of 6 months’ UK classroom teaching experience
Secure knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
Experience within EYFS, Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2
The ability to quickly establish yourself within a new classroom
    Confident and consistent behaviour management
Ability to adapt teaching for different abilities and learning needs
A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching
    Strong communication and organisational skills
References covering your most recent 24 months
Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service or willingness to have one processed

    Opportunities starting from October 2026
    Day-to-day, short-term and long-term assignments
