How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

This is an opportunity to work in a setting where relationships come first, progress is celebrated in all its forms, and every day brings the chance to make a lasting difference.

Many of our students have faced significant challenges in their educational journey. They need a teacher who sees their potential, believes in them, and can create learning experiences that build confidence, resilience and a love of learning.

Whether you're an experienced SEN practitioner or a mainstream teacher looking to transition into specialist education, we'll provide the support, training and encouragement to help you thrive.

Working alongside skilled Teaching Assistants, therapists and pastoral professionals, you'll be part of a collaborative team that is committed to helping every student achieve outcomes they once thought were impossible.

    What You'll Be Doing

Deliver engaging and personalised lessons that inspire students to achieve their potential.

Adapt learning to meet individual needs, EHCP outcomes and personal targets.

Create a calm, structured and nurturing classroom environment.

Support students to develop confidence, independence and emotional resilience.

Work collaboratively with families, therapists and support staff to achieve the best outcomes.

Celebrate progress and help students overcome barriers to learning and success.

Passionate about inclusive education and helping students reach their full potential.

Has experience of, or a strong interest in, supporting students with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and additional learning needs.

Builds positive, trusting relationships with students, families and colleagues.

Brings creativity, patience, enthusiasm and resilience to the classroom.

Enjoys working as part of a collaborative and supportive team.

Is committed to continuous professional development and learning.
