Job Responsibilities
Operate a Class 2 (C) vehicle in a safe and compliant manner
Complete daily delivery and collection routes efficiently
Carry out vehicle checks before and after shifts, reporting any defects promptly
Ensure loads are secured correctly and handled with care
Follow all relevant driving regulations, company procedures, and site requirements
Maintain accurate records as required, including delivery documentation
Provide a professional service to customers and site staff at all times
Adhere to working time and tachograph rules, ensuring full compliance
Required Skills & Qualifications
Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
Valid Driver CPC qualification
Valid digital tachograph card
Good knowledge of UK road regulations and safe driving practices
Experience driving a Class 2 vehicle (preferred) however newly passed considered
Strong attention to detail for vehicle checks and delivery documentation
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
Physically able to load/unload goods
Willingness to follow health and safety procedures and company policies
