How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Location: East Midlands (Leicestershire & Northamptonshire)
    Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Package: Competitive Basic Salary + Uncapped Commission + Share Options + Partnership Opportunity + Outstanding Benefits

This isn't your average recruitment role.

This is an opportunity to join a successful, growth-focused recruitment business and play a key role in building and developing its Renewable Energy division across permanent and contract recruitment.

The business has an established reputation across a number of specialist technical and professional sectors and is making significant investment into renewable energy, engineering, technical, automotive and environmental markets. As part of this growth strategy, they are seeking ambitious recruitment professionals who want more than simply running a desk. This role offers genuine leadership, equity and long-term career development opportunities.

Working closely with the owners and senior leadership team, you will have the opportunity to build a specialist market, develop key client relationships and ultimately grow and lead your own team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recruiter who is entrepreneurial, commercially minded and looking to be part of something with genuine long-term potential.

    What Makes This Opportunity Different?

You'll receive direct support, mentoring and training from experienced recruitment leaders who are committed to investing in both your success and the future growth of the division.

The business offers an established client base, existing recruitment infrastructure and the freedom to develop your own market while benefiting from strong leadership support.

    Opportunities include:

    • Building and growing a permanent and contract recruitment desk within the renewable energy sector.

    • Developing long-term relationships with existing and new clients.

    • Creating and leading your own specialist division.

    • Progression into management, senior leadership and director-level positions.

    • Access to warm clients and existing business relationships.

    • Hybrid and flexible working arrangements.

    • Share options and partnership opportunities for high performers who contribute to the long-term growth of the business.

    • The opportunity to become a key stakeholder in a rapidly growing division.

    • A clear pathway to leadership and future ownership opportunities.

    Potential Markets Include:

    Solar Energy (Domestic & Commercial)

    Onshore and Offshore Wind

    EV Charging Infrastructure

    Battery Storage and Energy Systems

    Renewable Engineering

    Power Generation

    Energy Efficiency

    Environmental and Sustainability Services

Carbon Reduction and Net Zero Projects

    Smart Grid Technologies

    About You

We are interested in speaking with experienced recruitment professionals from any sector background.

You may currently work within engineering, technical, industrial, professional services, construction, manufacturing, energy or another specialist market. Experience within renewable energy is beneficial but not essential.

What is important is your ability to develop business, build relationships and drive revenue growth.

    You will ideally have:

    • Previous experience within a recruitment agency environment.

    • Permanent, contract or temporary recruitment experience.

    • Strong business development and relationship building skills.

    • A commercial and entrepreneurial mindset.

    • Ambition to build, grow and lead a team.

    • The drive to contribute to a growing business and play a key role in its future success.

Please note: Previous recruitment agency experience is essential for this position.
