JOB SUMMARY:
Are you an organised and proactive administrator with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service?
We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Administrator who is confident managing customer enquiries, coordinating service activities and providing first-class administrative support within a busy office environment.
This is a varied role where you will be the first point of contact for customers, helping to ensure that every interaction is handled professionally and efficiently.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Customer Service Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting customers, field-based engineers, and internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Taking incoming calls and directing enquiries appropriately
Making outbound customer calls as required, to follow up on queries or customer requirements
Handling customer queries, complaints and service issues professionally
Updating and maintaining accurate information within the CRM system
Responding to requests for information via phone and email
Supporting Field Service Engineers with scheduling and customer communications
Preparing quotations and processing customer orders
Working collaboratively with colleagues across different departments
Providing general administrative support to meet business needs THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a customer support, customer service, or administration role is required - although on the job training will be provided, experience in a similar role will ensure a quicker transition
A strong commitment to delivering excellent customer care and support
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
The ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively under pressure
A positive, dependable and solutions-focused approach
Confidence working independently and as part of a team (You will be working in an open plan office, so it can be very busy at times, and you will need to be able to zone out and focus on your own workload, during busy periods)
Good IT skills, including Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel DESIRABLE
Knowledge of SAP Business One and/or Microsoft Dynamics (Or similar CRM / ERP packages) THE BENEFITS: Our client are a friendly, supportive team and this role is a replacement for someone who is progressing into another department, internally.
£28,000 annual salary
Free parking on site
Monday to Friday, with a 4.30pm finish each day
