How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Looking to start or develop your teaching career in Early Years with the support of another teacher alongside you?

Long Term Futures is recruiting an enthusiastic Early Years Partner Teacher for a primary school in Haringey. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ECT or developing teacher who wants genuine classroom responsibility while benefiting from a collaborative teaching environment.

Rather than stepping into a classroom and being expected to manage everything alone, you'll work as part of an established Early Years team, sharing ideas, planning engaging provision and helping children build strong foundations for school.

    The Role

Work as an Early Years Partner Teacher within the EYFS team
Collaborate closely on planning, teaching and assessment
Deliver engaging, purposeful learning through play
Plan strong continuous provision around children's interests and next steps
Teach early phonics, literacy and maths
Develop children's communication, language and vocabulary
Use observations and assessment to inform future planning
Differentiate learning for varying starting points and SEND
Create a nurturing environment that develops independence and confidence
Build positive relationships with children, colleagues and familiesWho We're Looking For

QTS required - ECTs are very welcome
Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework
Confident planning engaging Early Years learning
Good understanding of phonics and early language development
Energetic, creative and enthusiastic about learning through play
Comfortable collaborating closely with another teacher
Organised, reflective and keen to develop professionally
Above all, a positive, can-do attitudeWhy Long Term Futures?

We specialise in long-term and permanent education placements, giving teachers the opportunity to properly settle into a school and develop their careers. You'll receive competitive weekly pay, relevant CPD and dedicated consultant support throughout.

    Next Steps

Whether you're an ECT looking for the right environment to begin your career or an Early Years teacher who enjoys collaborative teaching, we'd like to hear from you.

Apply today with your CV. Shortlisted teachers will be contacted by Hugh at Long Term Futures to arrange a trial day.

Long Term Futures is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All applicants will be subject to safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references
