How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Working across a diverse range of projects, you will have the opportunity to produce traffic management drawings covering different road types, locations and project requirements. The role requires someone who can work accurately and efficiently while adapting to changing priorities and maintaining consistently high standards.

    You will work closely with the operations, administration and wider project teams, providing technical support and helping to ensure drawings are delivered within agreed timescales and client SLAs.

    This is a role that would suit someone who takes pride in producing high-quality technical work, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is looking to develop their career within the Traffic Management and highways sector.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Ensure all drawings are accurate, clear and produced within agreed timescales and client SLAs.

    * Maintain and manage the CAD register, ensuring all activities and outputs are accurately recorded to support invoicing and audit requirements.

    * Attend tender and project meetings to gain a clear understanding of project scope, requirements and constraints.

    * Produce clear and accurate sketches to support tender submissions, project planning and operational requirements.

    * Provide technical support and guidance to the operations team, responding to client queries where required.

    * Work collaboratively with administration, operations and other internal teams to ensure smooth and effective project delivery.

    * Interpret technical information, drawings and project specifications to produce accurate traffic management solutions.

    * Ensure all work is completed with a high level of attention to detail, maintaining consistency and accuracy across all drawings.

    * Manage workload effectively, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines and changing project requirements.

    * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant Traffic Management legislation, regulations and industry best practice.

    * Contribute to the continual improvement of CAD processes, standards and working practices.

    The Person

    We are looking for someone who is technically capable, organised and takes genuine pride in the quality of their work. You will be comfortable managing multiple priorities and working to deadlines, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

    The successful candidate will demonstrate:

    * Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.

    * Excellent time management and organisational skills.

    * A logical and analytical approach to problem-solving.

    * Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    * The ability to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.

    * A collaborative and team-oriented approach.

    * A proactive and self-motivated attitude.

    * Professionalism and reliability.

    * A willingness to learn, develop and expand technical knowledge.
